Road Trip Photography & Videography for Car Clubs and Supercar Tours

From 100-mile day drives to tours of over 1,000 miles

A great road trip goes by fast. The best roads, the convoy coming over the crest of a hill, the view at the lunch stop, the stories over dinner: by the following week most of it lives only in a few blurry phone photos taken from the passenger seat.

I make sure that doesn’t happen. I photograph and film road trips for car clubs, charities, tour organisers and dealerships, from 100-mile day drives to tours of over 1,000 miles across the UK and Ireland, so you come away with both a gallery to look back on and a film that brings the trip back to life.

Trusted by clubs that keep coming back

For the last three years I’ve covered at least two road trips a year for Ferrari Owners Club GB, and I’ve covered drives in the Scottish Borders with the charity Race Against Dementia. Repeat bookings from the same organisers year after year are the best evidence that the coverage is worth having.

Routes have included:

  • Scotish Highlands

  • The Scottish Borders

  • The Isle of Man

  • The Ring of Kerry, Ireland

  • The Peak District

  • The Cotswolds

Trips have run from a single day to a full week, on everything from fast A-roads to single-track lanes, in weather ranging from Highland sunshine to Atlantic rain.

Why have your road trip professionally covered?

For your members. People who have spent time and money on a trip want to remember it properly, and they want photos and footage of their own car on great roads that they would never get on their own. Good coverage gives every participant something to keep and share.

For your club or business. Strong images and video are your best marketing for next year’s trip. Stills fill your website, newsletters and magazine, and a highlights film is the quickest way to show prospective members exactly what they’re missing, especially on social media, where video consistently gets more reach than photos.

For charities and sponsors. For a fundraising drive, professional images and video help you thank supporters, report back to sponsors and promote the next event. Sponsors want to see their investment looking good.

For organisers. You’ve spent months planning the route. Professional coverage means you get to enjoy it too, rather than spending the day trying to take photos.

How I cover a road trip

Planned around your route. Before the trip I work through the route with you to find the best stretches of road, viewpoints and stops, so I’m in position before the convoy arrives rather than chasing it.

Cars on the move. The shots that best capture a road trip are taken while the cars are being driven, so the focus is on cars on the road: convoy footage on winding stretches, roadside positions at key points and scenic wide shots. Nothing beats video for the sound of a convoy coming through a valley. [If you do car-to-car tracking or drone shots, add them here.]

The full experience. A road trip is about more than the driving. I cover the departure, the stops, the scenery, the hotels and dinners, and the people. Those are often the moments members treasure most.

Self-sufficient on the road. On multi-day trips I travel alongside the group, look after my own logistics and fit around your schedule. Organisers don’t need to manage me.

Discreet and professional. I’m used to working around high-value cars and private owners. I keep out of the way and respect anyone who would rather not be photographed or filmed.

What you get

  • A full online gallery of edited images covering the cars, the roads and the people, organised so members can easily find their own car

  • A highlights film of the trip, edited to music with the sound of the cars, ready to share with members and post online

  • Selected images and clips for social media [during the trip / within X days – confirm what you offer], so posts go out while the trip is still fresh

  • Short social clips [vertical edits for Instagram/TikTok, if you offer them]

  • Images ready for print, magazines and websites, suitable for club publications, newsletters and sponsor reports
