Making the most of being stuck at home with some product photography practice
Shot on Sony A7iii with Sigma 35mm F1.4
After a hand full of days confined to home feeling under the weather it felt only right to distract myself by practicing some product photography and trying out some new things. Recently I've had a mild obsession with light paintings, reflection photos and 80's vibes of neon colours for a while so I attempted to combine the three.
Rooting round the house for something to match the 80's theme I couldn't have found anything better than my Casio digital watch...
I tried out a range of colours, movements and exposure times to observe the effects on the final image.
To add to the challenge I tried snapping shots of some RayBan Club Masters with reflections coming off the glass, arms and frames. I had to salvage some of the colours and reflections in post processing, hopefully it's got a slightly surreal feel but not totally disingenuous.
What do you think of the snaps?
Until next time
